Google is updating the page rank. I can say this because my client websites has 0 PR earlier but currently it is showing 3 PR (page Rank) . If your site is informative content based site then its is beneficial to improve the Page rank. Google page rank update is running from tomorrow night. I had already announce to my friends that Google Page rank update will come in first week of March then it is true and according to my calculation it is running. So make your site informative and get the good page rank for your site.
